Luka is incredible, that’s all you need to know. I’ve been a professional photographer for more than 10 years in the United States, so I’m very picky when booking someone to photograph me and the family. Obviously image quality matters, and Luka’s is stellar, but client relations is hugely important in this field and Luka excels at delivering a wonderful experience. We met with him virtually via FaceTime months ahead of the shoot to discuss our vision for the shoot, as well as his approach. I searched for a Venice photographer to hire for a photo session to celebrate my husband’s 50th birthday trip, and chose Luka over another photographer because I just loved his artistic aesthetic. The correspondence before the session was simple & thorough and he provided good information to prepare for the shoot. On the day of the shoot, Luka made us feel relaxed and comfortable and allowed us to have fun at various locations – capturing a variety of options that we could eventually choose from. Luka, where do we begin?
First off, let me just say that as a filmmaker it is very hard to be on the other side of the lens. Even though I was confident in Luka’s skills as a photographer, I will still afraid of how awkward I might look. Luka really worked his magic and got the best photos of myself that I’ve ever seen.
Also, what a sweet kind, generous, fun, passionate person. He made us feel welcome to Venice, and showed us a great time. His photographs are incredible, as a professional filmmaker/photographer I can truly say this man is an artist and is truly talented.
He met us in the morning and showed us around to some of the most beautiful spots off the beaten path. We talked about traveling, photography, life, and had a great time. He even told us about so many incredible spots in Venice to go to that were all amazing!
Let me also just say, I have never said “oh my God” in a row as many times as when I first saw our collection. My fiancée’s mouth dropped. Luka was BRILLIANT to work with while visiting Venice. I searched for a photographer online before my trip to Venice to shoot engagement pictures for my now husband and I. The task of finding the perfect person to capture our love in this special place was daunting but his website and other photos inspired me. Be careful to hire this man! You will not be able to stop looking at the incredible photographs he will send you after the shoot which itself is a very beautiful experience. I met Lukas by chance on Instagram when I was looking for a photographer in Venice. I wanted some captures with my daughter that could show the complicity and connection we have together. We had a session in Burano on a hot summer day last July and still can’t help looking at those pictures. They show a true mom-daughter relationship, the fun we have together and our genuine moments. I came across Luka’s portfolio on Instagram while researching photographers to capture my family and I during our trip to Venice a couple weeks ago. I immediately fell in love with his work, which absolutely stood out amongst others. Having reached out the very last minute, he responded immediately and was able to offer us an appointment literally days before we flew out. Throughout the entire process Luka was so helpful and very communicative! He offered suggestions on best times of day for lighting/avoiding crowds, best means of transportation on getting to location, etc.

I consider myself truly lucky to have met Luka. I too was a bit stressed out trying to find a photographer for my proposal in Venice on Valentine’s day until Luka replied my email.
Have to say that not only did he take AMAZING pictures, he also helped me make my proposal unforgettable. He was so supportive prior to the day, he practically planned out the whole theme before and after the proposal. I have to say that posing to pictures is a bit out of my comfort zone, but Luka made it feel natural and stress free. I started off with sunglasses and he even convinced me to take them off, explaining that with time, I will see the same feelings in my eyes looking back at the pictures.
The hardest part was to narrow down the pictures to 50 pictures, which

This man is a really fantastic photographer. Last summer I’ve decided to propose to my girlfriend. This was a secret for her, so Luka helped me to arrange everything the best way. We met early in the morning at the sunrise at Punta della Dogana where I proposed to her. Luka had a bottle of prosecco with him to celebrate the moment. After that we had lovely photoshoot on empty streets of Venice
